What is A/B Testing?

It is a way of testing in which two different versions of a web page are created to see which is more suitable and effective. In a basic A/B test, the visitors are shown both the “A” web page, which is normally the current design , or the “B” web page, which is the new design or the test page. In this way, the reaction of the visitors is tracked to see how many visitors stay on the page and read the text, or make a purchase based on the ratio of both the pages. These reactions are recorded and the results are determined as to which page, page “A” or page “B,” will become the new landing page for the website.
